So people get all butthurt about Paris Hilton not serving her 30-day sentence for something that was a mistake and would not harm anyone, yet Scooter Libby buttfucks the system lying under oath about exposing CIA operative Valerie Plame and no one is mad.

I mean, Paris is pretty annoying and overexposed, but her not serving her sentence would not have been an injustice because most people that commit her crime - black, white, or green - go home early like she did. I’m willing to guess that Libby does not get his 30 MONTH sentence and his probation cleared if the NAACP complained about it because Bush doesn’t give a fuck what the NAACP says.

At least the executive branch powers are being fleshed out more. The next president elected will know that he or she will have the comfort knowing he or she will never need negotiation.
